Description

SkillTrade is a Web3-powered skill-trading platform designed to revolutionize how users learn, share, and exchange skills. Built on blockchain technology, it ensures secure and decentralized transactions, allowing users to buy and sell skill-based courses seamlessly.

The platform features a course marketplace, a real-time chat system, and a community hub for networking and collaboration. Users can leverage Ethereum-based payments with MetaMask integration for secure transactions.

With a cyberpunk-inspired UI, SkillTrade combines aesthetics with functionality, offering a futuristic and engaging learning experience. Built using HTML, CSS (Tailwind, Bootstrap), JavaScript, Web3.js, and Ethers.js, it delivers a seamless and interactive environment for skill exchange.

Progress During Hackathon

During the Hackathon, we successfully implemented a system where users could buy Bitcoin and earn tokens, which they could later redeem for Ethereum. However, we couldn't fully complete the redemption functionality by the end of the event. Despite this, our progress showcased a working token-based exchange mechanism, highlighting the potential of blockchain-powered transactions within our SkillTrade platform.
